British composer E.D. Kennaway has written music for broadcast for the past decade, notably in the commercial advertising space. His work is actively licenced in the US, mainland Europe and Asia and he is represented by commercial libraries including: Scorekeepers, Audiosparx, Daddy Jack Music, Transition Music, The Music Kitchen, Soundfile Productions, Eric Hester Music, My Music Source, Music Blender, Music Dealers and Multiverse Sound.
He also has long-standing relationships with public broadcasters including the BBC, particularly BBC Radio 3, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
E.D. Kennaway has also written extensively for the music press. His articles have appeared in The Musical Times, the British Music Society Journal and Newsletter, The Strad, Music from the Movies and Musical Performance (Harwood Academic Publishers). On the subject of his stepfather’s music, of whom he has delivered a lecture to the British Music Society, E.D. Kennaway has penned album sleeve notes (for Naxos and CPO) and further contributed to both the Dictionary of National Biography (published by the Oxford University Press) and Die Musik in Geshichte und Gegenwart (Baerenreiter verlag).
